NOT Forever Alone Day

she is loved

Every year, when Valentine’s Day comes around, I hear the words more than ever “forever alone”. Many prefer to call it “Single’s Awareness Day”. Maybe it’s because I’m in high school and only the 11th grade and I’ve only seen 11 years of people under 18 complaining. Some people allow themselves to drown in self pity this day, or joke about dying with cats. Which is possible. I get it. But we have so much more to live for then worry about having a significant other to share one day of the year with. Why not hang out with all your other single friends? This is the first Valentine’s Day that I have plans.. to hang out with my friends instead of staying home watching Netflix and bingeing on chocolate. I believe that you shouldn’t chase someone for their love.. the right ones/ significant other will come to you when it is the right time. Here is a music video of a song called “Love” (who wouldn’t guess) by Jana Kramer. It gives a positive perspective on love.. if there’s a will there is a way 🙂

Here’s the lyrics so you can jam along. LOVE yourself this Valentine’s Day!

“Love”

by Jana Kramer

I still believe in fairy tales
I still believe in picking flowers
I still believe in getting lost in someone’s eyes
And talking for hours
I still believe in shooting stars
I still believe in midnight drives
And butterflies you get
Right before you kiss for the very first time

Love, how many times can a heart break?
Love, how much weight can a soul take?
Love, I don’t know where you ran off to
But love, love, love, I still believe in you.

I still believe in miracles
I still believe in wedding rings and bibles
I still believe the best walk you’ll ever take
Is walking down the aisle

Love, how many times can a heart break?
Love, how much weight can a soul take?
Love, I don’t know where you ran off to
But love, love, love, I still believe in you.
Yeah, I still believe in you.

I still believe that you’ll come knocking on my door
When I least expect you to
You give me something I can hold
You pull me through, cuz that’s what you do,
That’s what you do love
Yeah, that’s what you do love

Love, how many times can a heart break?
Love, how much weight can a soul take?
Love, I don’t know where you ran off to
But love, love, love, oh love, love, love
I still believe in you.
Yeah, I still believe in you.
I still believe in you.

“LOVE, I STILL BELIEVE IN YOU”
